I had a frank discussion with the boss about when my contract runs out, and my intention to study full time next semester, and the fact that I might thus not be available to take a continuing contract, should I be offered it. I feel a little happier, but the amount of paperwork I've just put myself in for is a bit terrifying.

Showed up for some Intimidating Medical Stuff.

Helped be educational about gender to medical staff.

Told my nurse an adorable tale of a fateful bus cart full of used tea cups. A movie-worthy tale, apparently. #howisthismylife

Kept the important person in the loop about what was going on (I hope adequately).

Soaked in hot tub. Soaked friend who came with me to Intimidating Medical Stuff in hot tub.

Arranged for social time.

Chose well in combining company.

Delivered much needed back massage.

Was Reverend Lunatic as needed.

Gave more details to the important person.

Went to sleep when I stopped making sense. Facilitated this by composing the message in bed.
