Just One Thing (25 October 2016)
Oct. 25th, 2016 05:00 pmIt's challenge time!
Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.
Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!
Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!
Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.
Go!

Date: 2016-10-26 12:59 pm (UTC)Made plans to account for sudden possible body malfunction.
Made plans to account for friend-and-medical-advocate having a disaster, and prioritized the appointment where I actually needed them.
Left in what would have been a timely manner for the first appointment if parking had been sensible.
Accepted friend's offer to hunt down parking while I checked in for the appointment.
Was doing a decent job explaining the situation to the doctor before my friend arrived.
Didn't *completely* melt down in the doctor's office describing the sleep specialist appointment from hell, even though I did dissolve in tears a little.
Made a plan for getting a CPAP if the loaner works for me.
Found an error in the CPAP documentation in my first two minutes examining it.
Was backup to my friend when picking up his car.
Used social media for possible future good.
Noticed I was missing my front license plate. Didn't panic.
Didn't try to do too much before the second doctor appointment.
Kept sweetie in the loop about my schedule for the day and general events.
Ate before the second medical appointment, even though it was just the emergency granola bar in my jacket pocket.
Remembered the correct position for my arms when going through the CT scanner.
Scheduled a peaceful dinner with (a different) friend.
Finished the round of treatments!
Was three for three on removing the medical device myself. Much to the doctor's amusement.
DMV paperwork for missing license plate.
Troubleshooting printing problems.
Told friend how late I was running, accurately.
Dinner! Yay!
Did the reading for beta, if not the feedback yet.
Set up CPAP.
Said goodnight to sweetie before falling over in exhaustion.
Cancelled plans for tomorrow. I will be nonfunctional.

Almost through a professional reading book, with the hope that it will be useful in a presentation pitch for later.
