Got up earlier than usual (to get to the physio on time) even though I REALLY didn't wanna;

Physio;

Nurse practitioner re new health issue;

ATM cash out;

Bought a super healthy chockfull of fresh veges lunch;

Chemist - script;

Health fund - pay premium, do claim;

Massage;

Post Office for mail and banking.

I put a sign over my work nameplate to announce my real name and come out as genderqueer.

(Three of my coworkers have reacted pleasingly. Yay!)

(None of my coworkers have reacted distressingly, if we exclude the one who laughed on the grounds that we don't know which bit of the sign—which does have a moment of deliberate humor—she was laughing at. Yay?)

But also, stuck to going out and having a good time with a friend, without any unwanted companionship accompanying.

Ran errands.

Caught up with friends. Didn't thoroughly embarrass myself. Did do something moderately macho, and found that I'd judged my strength accurately (and reached a benchmark in my healing).

Didn't say anything bitchy or regrettable to anyone, even though I was incorriged to do so.

The regularly scheduled social outing, at a venue suitable for someone who'd just had minor oral surgery.

Trollhugging large men is great fun. When you are a short and round geek-in-a-skirt, tall men of about 14 stone are very surprised when you can hug them firmly, pick them up, and swing them around in a circle before setting them back down in a controlled fashion.

Apparently no one had done that to him for 35 years or so...

He was somewhat delighted.
