Just One Thing (20 November` 2016)
Nov. 20th, 2016 09:07 amIt's challenge time!
Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.
Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!
Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!
Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.
Go!

Date: 2016-11-20 11:17 am (UTC)Went to a Transgender Day of Remembrance vigil. Apparently the first one in this city. Which seems odd to me, because our much smaller city has been observing TGDR for a while.

Date: 2016-11-23 01:23 am (UTC)What was really interesting (to me) was the person behind me in the walk who commented that this was what the local queer Mardi Gras parade had been like when it started, so I'm hoping that this augurs well. (Also they had the walk led by a copper! Who is indeed trans)

Communication, wherein we managed to hit some of the underlying issues, and clarified exactly how likely it was that I'd be amenable to being forced into doing something I didn't actually want to do. (It helps that my sweetie has seen years of general grousing about things I didn't want to do. I don't generally take kindly to it.)
Obtained opinions of third parties, helpfully.
Located all of the parts of the rice cooker.
Quality time.
Arranged an outing with someone I haven't had sufficient 1:1 time with lately. Resisted the urge to (accurately) use "<3" in setting up the two-person dinner.
Went to bed when tired.
