It's challenge time!

Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.

Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!

Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!

Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Go!

I took the bus to and from work yesterday, because of Things. So now I know how to do that, which is a good thing to know.

Got up to look after toddler at 0-dark-thirty. Went to London. Made it through meeting that lasted until 1800. Ate pizza. Collapsed.

I kept myself together on grumpiness as small things vexed me all day.

Communication about persistent and tricky brainweasels.

Persisting right back at brainweasels like that seems to be the way to go.

Left more or less on time, more or less prepared, for a thing.

Planned the refueling stop.

Made an unplanned bathroom stop, found a bathroom successfully (well, a porta-potty, but hey), made use of the facilities without throwing a wobbly, got back on the road.

Endured an extra four hours of traffic in escaping the gravity well of San Francisco. This should have been a three hour tour drive. (Thus the unplanned bathroom stop.)

Drove down the unfamiliar twisty bumpy mountain roads in the dark without going off the road, hitting a deer, doing anything unfortunate to my elderly low-slung city car sedan, or getting carsick.

Caught up with a friend I haven't seen in at least 11 years, and met his wife and three kids. (All of them lovely people.)

Slept, a bit.

(And communication. Rather a lot of communication, under the circumstances.)
