Did the dishes, took out the bins and recycling, did two loads of laundry.

Started knitting a secret Santa present that has to be done Monday. (I'd forgotten about it until today...)

Had a scary conversation that went well, and we kind of both got what we wanted.

Went on a cow hunt - found about ten of the 32 we might have, before excess heat drove us home.

I loved your posts of the owls, earlier in the year. I have plans to put the photos up, as soon as I get a few things sorted first (like receiving the laptop I ordered more than a month ago, and downloading the camera, because I don't have a computer I can do that to at present)

All part of this functional communication toolbox! We're not quite at the "let's make our calendars visible to each other" level of intimacy, but week-ahead planning lets us get a better idea of when we can expect to maybe get a little quality time...

Braved the hordes and spent the day holiday shopping with the children. They both dealt with it really well - with the help of pit stops for babyccinos and food.

Sounds good! Are babyccinos just the steamed milk, plus or minus vanilla or chocolate flavoring? I think I've definitely encountered the concept, possibly the recipe if it's what I think it is, but never the word.

Babyccinos are usually just steamed milk, optionally with chocolate sprinkled on top. The kids love them, and it makes them feel included when the adults are having hot drinks. :)
