Went to a yoga class! Never done yoga before. It was fun.

Finally got an electrician to fix a problem I'd been despairing of, and luckily he was also able to reassure us that another problem wasn't as bad as I had feared.

I did many of the things on my to-do list, which may have set in motion a chain of events that I should not stop.

Imagine a hyperactive Ravenclaw with pre-birth injuries (on a planet where that's a disqualification from military service) gone military-mad, raised by a Hufflepuff dad who instilled into him the idea that a strong work ethic will get you everywhere you want to be... and a mom who wanted to be a Ravenclaw with every inch of her ambitious and Chaotic Good Slytherin heart...

Did my best to support my partner in their decisions and actions. Pep talks and understanding and such.

Gave status updates to various people.

Arranged for companionship during a few hours that I already know is going to be excessively fraught with nothing I can do. Thus, human contact. (And when my first two ideas were respectively sick and busy, I found a third person who could be trusted to see me in such a state.

Caught up with a friend who I need to never lose touch with.

Asked for help doing something that was hard.

Recognized exactly the direction my mood was taking, and did something about it while that was still a sensible thing to do.

Communication and togetherness.

I did a whole bunch of preparatory stuff for the coming months - checking schedules, making bookings, etc.
