Did not panic when the car broke down on a country lane in the snow with both children in the car.

Phoned the RAC and ascertained it would take more than two hours for them to get to us.

Phoned partner & arranged for them to get a taxi to come to us so we could swap places and the children would not have to sit in a cold vehicle in the middle of nowhere for (as it turned out to be) three hours.

Thank you. That is (was?) one of my worst fears. So, um, I guess I've dealt with that one now? Not that I want it to happen again. But at least I've been through it once.
