She does--she even helped us out a bit yesterday, between all her other engagements. I've known her for years and I'm glad to play small parts in helping her try to win.

Exercised my democratic right, and voted.

For those familiar with the Australian system for the upper house, I voted below the line, and numbered every one of the dratted 58 candidates.

(state election, so a formal vote requires all the boxes. Oh, for the federal 'stop at 12 or all the good candidates, whichever is bigger')

Apparently, 'below the line' is only practiced by ~5% of the population, which I really struggle to comprehend, because why wouldn't you want to really influence what is going to happen.

I spent a day having fun with my sister and a good friend. Museums, good food, ice cream, and solid walks.

Got sleep.

When I realized that I had forgotten my crocheting project, did not panic, but decided to pick up a small new one.

Went to the convention in a vaguely timely fashion. Did not pay the extra $20 for the day I missed.

Had oceans of fun.

Good chats with my partner, and getting to say goodnight.
