It's challenge time!
Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.
Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!
Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!
Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.
Go!

Date: 2017-03-13 10:53 pm (UTC)Today I have been in Crisis Management mode with a friend with mental health problems, so I'm pleased that I've made a start at all my assignments for getting back to school tomorrow after spring break. And I've driven back and forth from my house to my friend's a few times without flipping out. And I'm all ready to stay the night with her to make sure she's still keeping on. Woo!

Date: 2017-03-14 06:20 pm (UTC)Self-soothed feelings of jealousy over seeing less qualified teammate be promoted--reminded self that my focus is on my degree and my job is simply a means to an end; advancement would not be a good idea right now.

Arranged social time.
Had a really awkward but necessary conversation about gender with a friend. Short version: the "Oh? Well, *my* pronouns are Nitwit/Blubber/Oddment/Tweak!" joke is unfunny because it's not original at all, and it's a strong indicator that the jokester is not to be trusted in conversations about gender that require sensitivity or understanding. And we're okay. A little frazzled, but okay.
Good time spent with my partner. A timely bedtime in preparation for the dentist in the morning.
