It's challenge time!

Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.

Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!

Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!

Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Go!

A whole day at Lib Dem conference. Without enough sleep.

It's my day off, and my partner who lives with me has an evening shift. We went out for coffee, did a few chores, helped each other not be entirely eaten by brainweasels, had lunch, played a game, went for a walk, came back. Doing things together is important, and those 'little' things are NOT ones we can take for granted due to differing schedules, mental issues that set one another off, and general exhaustion. So I wanted to highlight those joint accomplishments for a change.

Made appropriate decisions about physical limitations, and skipped dance class so that I could deal with the afternoon/evening commitments. Watched a bunch of kids get to skate with only the pressure of performing for an audience, rather than performing for judges -- most of them were more relaxed and skated better than they had for the competition a few weeks back.

It's hard to do less stuff. I admire you for figuring it out. And those skating kids sound really cool!

Watching the kids was great - the local senior sychnronised team is going to Worlds, and did an exhibition (along with a bunch of others) -- really lovely to watch.

A long day, but one spent with good times with a partner that culminated in a nice sleepover. And a few more experience points toward making my little mons that much better.

Set a reminder for myself to talk to a friend about a planned visit in a timely manner. Did so.

Housework.

Everything was enough in mental order that I was able to cope with a surprise drop-off-things from my aunt, and a surprise change of plans with the friend.

Visited my friend, despite obnoxious traffic. Found a parking place.

When it was time to go, managed to pull my car out from behind a huge truck that was double-parallel-parked with barely enough room for me to un-park. I am astonished at how well I managed that.

Nice conversations with my partner at various parts of the day.
