Today, I made it to the weekend!

For the first time in forever, my boss suggested a touch base one on one meeting for later today, and my reaction was not immediate worry and panic.

I might be finally getting over my initial boss trauma.

Hurrah for emotional resilience vs. boss!

Yeah. This boss is good. The last couple were good. But the first one tried to get me fired, and so I've had a flinch ever since when evaluations and meetings came up.

Had a really nice last full day in Vienna with the children, despite the arctic winds and freezing rain. (It was hard to believe that two days earlier we'd been in t-shirts on a boat cruising down the Danube.)

Thanks! We were all quite happy to climb into a nice warm bath at the end of the day. That definitely helped. :)
