Went to the shoe shop. Discovered that, as suspected, both children had outgrown their shoes. It has been eight weeks since we bought their previous pairs. (Eight weeks.) This is a record.

Bought two new pairs of shoes.

Took on (most of) a colleague/friend's teaching/tutoring load. In two subjects I don't teach.
