I got to watch two top-notch world-class figure skaters from Very Close Up (there were apparently 450 people in the audience; there are 5 built in rows of seats, and one extra row was added). It was *spectacular*. I'm not sure I ever want to see another backflip on the ice in real time though, because that is terrifying.

It was great! The local skaters are no slouches, but the difference is breathtaking (the entire audience was absolutely still for the first part of one of the routines, and the skater had done *nothing* spectacular)

Worked on getting all my things in order, very especially including my driver's license. That was the top priority, and I did it.

Did other little things to make the place more like home.

FOUND PARKING. oh my god. seattle parking is NOT fun. (Cried. A little. Once safely home.)

Vacuumed up the dirt after dropping a potted miniature rosebush from the top of my car onto the passenger seat.

Made notes about things to do later.

Communication, including about things that turned out to be a little delicate.

Ah, nesting. :) Hopefully the good/pleasurable bits are outweighing the difficult bits.

Parking alone, unless I get a monthly spot, is going to drive me up the wall and back down a little more south.
