Didn't blow a gasket when multiple strangers (including grocery store staff) were ableist dickheads at me.

I took a day and helped construct a presentation I'm giving with sometime else.

Didn't panic (too badly) when I got lost with the help of assorted GPS fail. Instead, found somewhere safe to pull over and get back to known territory.

Went on what seems to have been my first formal in-public 1:1 date with my partner. Nothing particularly fancy or outrageous, just the two of us in public sharing a meal with nobody else in our party.

Put in a good day's effort towards conference stuff.

We have confirmation from observing friends that we are adorable. This is at the cooled-down levels of handsiness that come after nearly a year of involvement, albeit not much of that in person. I hope we'll continue to find that much happiness in each other for years and years to come.

Stayed up way too late with an anxious group of Brits, drinking cava and nervously watching exit poll analysis.
