Survived a six-hour telecon.

acquired a copy of 'Mao's Last Dancer' at short notice so that youngest could deal with homework (having missed the ending shown in class due to skate training).

:} I was a little concerned - just old enough a movie that I wasn't sure there would still be copies around. But there was one copy, and it cost $7, so very much on the selling it cheap to get it out of the shop level!

I talked! And it went well. And then there was partying and other such things. It was good. (And the new Pokémon Go Gyms debuts.)

YAY! Very glad the talk went well, and the celebrations.

I have yet to properly try out the new Pokégyms, although I have snuck in to spin & get stuff from a couple of them.

Further improvements to our morning routine.

A lovely and busy conference day. At this point in the conference I was alternating sessions with lounge time.

Exchanged pleasantries and shop talk with someone I haven't talked with in at least a decade. It wasn't horrible or terribly awkward. (It was good.)

Had a brain overload in public, and (aside from the overload) nothing bad happened: an organizer came over and checked basic safety information (did I need water or a seat) and it was a safe place to say that I was just brain overloaded. This is a conference that explicitly tries to be good about that.

Had a long and fascinating talk with someone displaying the kind of polite interest that means they may want a date later.

Good food and good times, even though it seemed sometimes that most of the critical mass having fun was in a different grouping.

The logical first anniversary of me sending a very scary text message, and getting a different response than I expected. 💙🌺💞
