I had a party and people came and played games. And that's the best thing that's happened in years on this day.

I could not be with my partner at this time last year. I am here this year, and I hope to be present in the future. Made up, a bit, for lost time.

Helped at making sure that people had a good time.

A serious discussion with some friends of my partner about the ex, and how if I mistreat my partner, I will find all my possessions are on fire. I feel this is a reasonable stipulation under the circumstances.

Introduced a neighbor child to sparklers, with parental supervision.
