Got out of bed. As my thyroid symptoms are flaring up currently, this in and of itself is an accomplishment.

Paid bills.

Finished two of the things on my 'not finished on the day I started them' list. Both reading, but still, I'm pleased with myself.

Got through a day marked by excessive fuckery, and even accomplished a few things. Partner and I went to bed snuggled up, rather than on upset opposite sides.

Argh. Congratulations on surviving the horrid bits and embarking upon sleep without carrying too much of that with you.

At a certain point we realized what kind of day it was being, and intentionally had quiet snuggle time to get our bodies attuned to each other again.

We did not attempt further intimacies that evening. We mutually realized that given the way things were going, it would end in disaster.
