Sorted through, collected and mailed dozens of t-shirts to far-flung parts of the country for upcoming Prides. Did some volunteering admin. Two loads of laundry. Bought a few groceries. Went to a WI craft group.

It has been such a busy and 95% good day.

Nearly every week I've been in there, mailing leaflets or stickers or petitions. But this time it was two huge packages of 20 t-shirts each. They take up more space than I thought they would! :)

Whew! You get double imaginary confetti for sorting/packing AND mailing things!! Wow!

I walked to the city park, enjoyed the day, and stayed longer at the park than I usually do.

Good plan! Enjoy it when you can, and don't worry about it when you're doing other things. The nice thing about parks is that by and large they stay put.

I asked for a Useful Item at work, and received permission to purchase it.

...is the Thing a SCIENCEY thing? Or is it, like, a stapler? Maybe you can't tell us. I guess you probably can't tell us. (But is it SCIENCEY?)

It's just a fancy computer! It will be used for SCIENCE though. And engineering. :)

I opened a bank account with a credit union that is actually local to me, to eventually replace the one that still has my parent's soon-to-be-outdated address on it. I stayed calm, got support, and was able to ask relevant questions and be cheerful through the process.

I talked with my partner about managing my mental health.

I petted a neighbor cat. Lots of petting and purring.

I folded some laundry.

I made sensible choices to stay cool in terribly hot weather.

I did some research for a possible activity with friends.

I checked in here on Dreamwidth!

I be all the paperwork finally filed, and now, hopefully, this means the final phase can begin and I can be done with the rest of things.

Started getting things on my computer caught up.

Some housework.

Coped with the heat.

Listed the equipment I needed.

Accidentally discovered a fun activity that my partner is very interested in.

Tested some new equipment.

Made food happen.

Took a shower when I was sticky and itchy and miserable in the heat before bed.
