Despite being ill, ran Junior Parkrun with Eldest, went swimming with the family and had a playdate with friends.

Went to bed at 8 PM.

Worked at fundraising BBQ for three hours, and then took youngest shopping to try and get something for the two somewhat formal dinners they are scheduled to go to at the end of the year. At 13, they don't yet have an idea of their style, and they have a figure that doesn't match well with current trends (trousers, aaaargh. Waists are a thing.).

I communicated well, even though it meant a thing had to be postponed.

Mending and laundry.

Took advantage of some quiet time to sand my feet and trim my toenails.

A nice evening in with my partner, and snuggles.
