I overcame a major anxiety trigger and Did Something! By myself even! And I self-soothed afterwards!

Was assertive with a wheelchair taxi company and a wheelchair taxi driver, when the taxi company and the taxi driver both committed multiple acts of shockingly inadequate customer service.

Ugh. It would be so nice if they could hire consultants to maybe be less terrible.

Recurring problems include:

the driver getting angry when I ask him to tie down the powerwheelchair using the straps and anchor points set in the floor that all wheelchair taxis have, even though it is

a) extremely dangerous (the powerchair could become a missile if the driver brakes suddenly or changes lanes suddenly); and
b) illegal

for the driver not to do so, and he[1] could be fined by the police for not doing so.

[1] and it is always he, I've never had a female wheelchair taxi driver do this.

Did the "person in charge" thing in the face of a situation last night.

Did it essentially wrong, for reasons that were explained to me by the expert the next day, but did the thing anyway.

Productive things.

Was the Adult At Home when the repair technician asked if my partner's refrigerator was running. (Culprit: a lot of ice and one stray pea, in the drain tube.)

Made food happen in very good time after my partner came home from a late night at work.
