Rang chemist and ordered home-delivery of over the counter medications.

Organised vet home-visit for cat who had suspected UTI or blockage. Stood firm when two receptionists and one vet tried to pressure me into bringing him into the vet clinic - if I COULD have brought the cat in, I would have, but I wish they would trust me that when I say I CAN'T leave the house today due to severe chronic illness I mean "It is genuinely not possible for me to leave the house today unless there is a bushfire or a hurricane" not "It is not convenient."

Picked up struggling cat and held him for the vet to examine.

Laundry.

Dishwasher.

Accepted home-delivery of over the counter medications for me.

Accepted delivery of groceries.
Put groceries in fridge.

Good work caring for you and yours. I hope the cat has appropriate treatment now.

The vet gave him an antibiotic injection that should last 2 weeks, an anti-inflammatory injection that should last 24 hours, and anti-inflammatory drops do give him once daily for the next several days.

Also I've ordered him Hill's Prescription Diet C/D Multi Care Stress Adult Cat Food "specially formulated to support your cat's urinary health" and a water fountain to encourage him to drink more.

I just rang the vet again to see if he needs another home visit today, because he doesn't seem to be peeing...

Go you! I wish it were reasonable to hope that the cat is appropriately grateful, but the likelihood of that is low (see: Cat). :)

Sorted paperwork. And more paperwork. Am maybe 15% of way in to task, and it needs to be finished already.

Thanks. There are *so* many piles of paper in this house, and I wasn't clever enough to know that certain pieces should have gone together. (yes, still going on this task).

Also, actually followed through on remembering to communicate with a cousin. We don't see one another nearly often enough.

I did a workshop where I reaffirmed my communication style and did some thinking about the differences between direct communication styles and rude people communicating directly.
