Chemist to collect prescription medication;

Filled bedtime pillbox;

Did two surveys for upcoming Occupational Therapist appointment;

Took bag of rubbish out to outside rubbish bin;

Loaded dishwasher;

Microwaved and ate food;

Phoned a friend to say hello;

Picked up cats and locked them in a room so they couldn't get out during airconditioner technician's service visit;

Coped with airconditioner technician service visit even though it was highly stressful and unpleasant and physically exhausting and DO NOT WANT;

Laundry;

Messaged friend re getting cat to vet;

Rang vet receptionist re booking dental appointment for cat – unfortunately, none of the three different days/times friend was available to do transport matched the vets requirements for anesthetic (drop off before 9, pick up after 3.)

Ran my part of Day 2 of the Epic Two-Day meeting with reasonable competence and keeping to time, despite a slight hangover.*

* Unintentionally acquired by being the one left with the responsibility for the evening entertainment of a group of very thirsty, very hungry German-speakers, whom I didn't realise were buying me doubles until my third gin and tonic.

Well done on the adulting-under-adverse-circumstances.

(and I will take it as advice for future me to watch out what kind of drinks German visitors might be buying me. Not likely to be a thing in the near future, but last workplace used to have Swiss visitors that would take everyone out to dinner).

Hooray! I hope the movie was good.

It was a sequel movie, an action film based on a comic book, with all the eccentric weaponry, swift-moving camera work, and gloriously phallic imagery that implies. Fun if you take it with the MST3K Mantra, which I did.
