Today, despite only getting four hours sleep, I:

prised myself out of the house despite the I-don't-wannas;

got coffee;

got ricepaper wraps;

podiatrist appointment with brand new podiatrist;

chemist to see if vaccine had arrived yet (it wasn't);

physiotherapy appointment;

chemist for shingles vaccine;

health insurance to pay health insurance premium and claim vaccine and podiatrist;

ATM for cash out;

Post office for mail and to deposit $ to credit card;

said soothing things to myself when my hip flexors REALLY, REALLY hurt.

Went for a long walk up to the store to get goeceries.

Took my tax paperwork to the accountant.

Survived the first day of my new, seasonal, light factory work job in a forestry nursery. I was worried both about the new people and how hard the work was going to be, and both were okay! The work is hard and I'm going to be sore this weekend, but I can do it and I'll have the satisfaction of knowing that I really earned my money!

Got up early. Did homework with a headache so bad it was making me dizzy.

Packed for a weekend away.

Entertained faraway friend who was in our city this afternoon.

Went to class.

Went to London.

Couldn't get tube to friend's house so had to navigate unfamiliar, packed, rush hour buses in this benighted city on my own!

Didn't freak out, didn't too badly injure myself when I fell down the stairs on the bus, didn't get off at the wrong stop.

Did get a little lost getting to friend's from the bus stop. But not too bad. :)

Was rewarded with pizza and cartoons at the end of the day! :D

Stayed home and recovered, despite several parts of my brain telling me I was well enough to go to work.

Set up a plan for moral support in the job search.

Pointed out symptoms of being steeped in the capitalist patriarchy when they happened.
