Bought youngest a plain black dress. We had to go to two big box stores to find one that suited, and this one will need some sewing, but at least we found something.

Baked an apple cake with the children.

Also got them to make jelly for our brain-shaped mould. It is quite fun having children clamour for "jelly brains and ice cream" for pudding.

Communication and understanding that some things I was taking one way were actually meant as another.

Helped my partner learn and practice skills in self-care while feeling lousy-ish.

Had a lovely quiet dinner.

Located equipment in my boxes. Now we'll have a laptop available for the media room and guests.

Didn't interfere while my partner got things done.
