'Twas a very exciting (for me) day -- my R package compiled correctly, with 0 errors and 0 warnings. Yes, it only had one function in, but given I'm working from a broken template, working out the problems was rather reassuring. Also, I successfully backed up my personal computer. This is after multiple weeks of having misplaced the back up drive, and then having it fail multiple times (having done 2K of mumble G) over the course of a day.
