Took the time to have a tidy-up of virtual and physical work spaces, and am feeling much calmer as a result.

Yep. I didn't get much "proper" work done today, but clearing the decks should make it a lot easier to get some done tomorrow.

Made good food from scratch for breakfast.

Visited a friend I never see enough of.

I got through a significant portion of the available work, even if I did not actively get through the entire pile.

Figured out that if I stopped for dinner mid-commute, I would be in a much better position. And so I was! I had both cheer and energy when I got home.

I still didn't get in bed when I wanted to, but that was a choice rather than a necessity.
