Had a chat with my Big Boss that I've been working myself up to for weeks. It went well - better than I could have hoped!

Continued to make sure that all is ready for the conference trip later this month.

Accepted a professional coffee date.

Gave a tactful warning that shit was about to hit the fan if some office clutter had to be officially taken notice of, without actually saying that in so many words. I just said that the quarterly inspection was impending, and made a highlight of the relevant safety concepts. I will probably follow up the email with an in-person chat in which I can actually say something about the utter bureaucratic fucktruck which ensues if a report goes in about a resolve-immediately safety item.

Gave advice about recruiters to my baby girl.
