Today, despite not-enough-sleep and very-broken-sleep, I:

ordered coffee and food from Uber eats;

did a stressful phone call to [bus company] about something a bus driver did (a few days ago) to the wheelchair ramp that nearly resulted in extreme injury;

shared solicited information about medication options for chronic pain;

caught taxi;

repeatedly tried to fend off the taxi driver from dumping his relationship woes on me (set boundaries);

discussed complex medication issues with a medical specialist for 30 minutes;

advocated to the medical receptionist about removing the essential oil diffuser, which is a migraine trigger, from the reception desk;

caught a bus, despite being apprehensive because the last time I caught a bus I was nearly extremely injured;

went to a supermarket to buy a few bits and bobs;

browsed in a clothing store for suitable clothes (sadly, none);

got cash out from an ATM;

asserted myself until everyone got out of my way on a crowded train carriage, so I could get my powerchair through the train aisle;

Post office to collect mail and do banking;

Chemist to pre-order prescription medication and buy over the counter medication;

Made stressful phonecall to agency.

I got out of bed before sundown both today and yesterday! Yeah, that's an improvement.

Had high tea with a very old friend from the industrial scene in LA, who was visiting London with his family. They were lovely. :)

Continued to speak to the children in the face of a worsening sickness, which thankfully did not start becoming difficult until after the talking was done.
