Finally remembered to hand in that flippin' form to Eldest's school. I've been carrying it around in my handbag all week. /o\

I got distracted, and instead of doing my to do list, wrote a function that would have been useful earlier in the week, if I'd known that the API I'm querying existed*. I'm pretty pleased -- all of the noodling that I'm doing is slowly being converted to tools that are going to make a small range of repetitive tasks done by a small number of people so much faster!

* coworker ended up having to manually do 60 separate queries on a website, each of which requires clicking through multiple pages and forms.

Went to an impromptu hot tub party after work.

Got enough sleep.

Successfully made an almond butter sauce for the chicken, substituted for peanut sauce because my partner's mouth goes all funny when they're exposed to peanuts. And lo, it was good. Even though Thai cooking is not one of the foodways I was raised in.
