In order to get to an evening event on time, took a different bus than usual.

Learned that when the local baseball team has game traffic, I should consider the train.

Wasn't completely exhausted for the event.

Yikes. Glad you managed to get to the event, eventually. And have useful logistical information filed away for the future.

The game ran late. I got on the bus at 4:50-something, at what I think was its last stop in town. It was 5:38 by the time we were zooming down the highway.
