I tried to talk to people who are hard to talk to, and took 'not now' for an answer.

I put my own experience, experience of other people, and wisdom from the internet together, and concluded that getting a specific program would not help me, since it hadn't helped my colleague. I then set about to find a workaround. Which I found. And instructed my colleague.

I found a transit route which is a little more convenient for getting home early on days my partner is picking me up.

I kept at trying to make my body understand that it doesn't have to clog my ears anymore. It didn't work, but I kept trying.
