Single-parented. Got the children to near-simultaneous birthday parties at locations a 25-minute drive apart. This required me to do a lot of things I don't like. Especially: navigate to unfamiliar places, have awkward conversations with people I don't know very well, and ask ones I know somewhat better for favours.

The kids had a great time, which was the goal, but I'm never doing that again!

I remembered to mention that the workplace would be closed tomorrow on both of the closing announcements.

Took two jars of lime slices and did something interesting. Wound up with taffy.
