Today's response was to go shirt shopping, looking for 'I'm getting old and cranky, sit down and shut up' shirts -- ie. ones that make people think of strict middle grade teachers and grandparents.

Thank you! They decided to do a blood draw for family history reasons. Should have results in three weeks.

Realized I was going to be incompetent at getting myself an appointment, and accepted my partner's offer to set me up with their dentist.

I did not get into it with an entitled, rude, and verbally abusive person.

I did note their account in a way that I hope tells anyone else who has to deal with them that they have gone well past the point of courtesy.
