I got to play "the person who helps others with their anxieties" today. Which involved radiator fluid, oil, and a lot of being a warm person.

By the time radiator fluid and oil get involved, it tends to be a Situation, not just free-floating anxieties.

Apparently Mercury is in retrograde.

Helped with the ongoing project of making the basement a welcoming place.

Took my car on a little trip to IKEA (a good distance away) to get it to complete a drive cycle after its battery had been disconnected. Discovered (when our car dude arrived) that it had blown the relay that powers the fan. You know, the one that keeps it from overheating and roasting its delicate bits. Fortunately it was a cool evening. Managed to keep myself somewhat together with the help of my past psychiatrist who put me on the daily meds, my partner, and the fact that I can summon reserves of composure if my daughter is involved. (She wasn't, but I tricked my brain.)

Made decisions about food.
