Just one thing: 12 August 2019
Aug. 12th, 2019 06:27 amIt's challenge time!
Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.
Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!
Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!
Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Date: 2019-08-12 02:50 pm (UTC)How's that for cryptic?
I'm getting close to the end of a fairly large cross stitch project. Picture is long and narrow and shows an allotment with shed and veg and loads of fun details. I'm adding various detail work and embellishments at the moment, but I've been stuck on that around halfway through for the longest time. Those cabbages. There's an error in there and the fear that this meant that my work-arounds wouldn't look good and that the error would just be made obvious had me stalled on it. After all, I can't rip out four hundred stitches and re-do them if I don't know it's necessary. Pretty unlikely that this would be necessary at all, but the worry was real.
But I sucked it up eventually and powered through a row of (frankly quite good looking) cabbages and am now closing in on finishing the piece.

Date: 2019-08-13 02:08 am (UTC)Received a response to a question which I posted over the weekend to an employment-related website. The response was pretty much exactly what I had asked for, and I bookmarked the link provided in the email. I'm going to follow up in the next few days by reading the information that was sent to me.
