I have not gone screaming off the rails even though the last person who should be helping with the situation I am assisting with would be, well, *me*.

Yesterday, even though I was exhausted, I had a shower (seriously, it was like climbing mount everest), got dressed, and went and saw a film with a friend.

Today I have done a *lot* of tidying up getting ready for the cleaner.

Took public transport to places i am not familiar with (missed the bus and had to call for a taxi :s) and attended a group for daughters of narcissistic mothers. Then took the train back to near home and went to the pharmacy and the post office.

That transport scenario, argh. I have a terrible sense of direction so getting lost is a real possibility any time I have to go anywhere I don't know well. Kudos for handling it with aplomb!

Had two unexpected situations at work (well I forgot about one so it shouldn't have been unexpected) but I didn't let them phase me at all. As they say this isn't my first rodeo.

I went to the optician and got a prescription for my first pair of glasses! Look at me, taking care of my body and stuff.

Called a friend and talked for over an hour so I couldn't go to the park for a walk
Bought some groceries
Dug out the postcards I'm suposed to send (have not written them yet)
Went to the thing
Started planning a trip, sort of
