During a day otherwise filled with meetings, managed to squeeze in an hour at the gym.

Finally attached the extra plug to this one lamp so that my teen now has light in his room. It's been... a month?

I got the train into central London to exchange a pair of shoes for a different size. Not convinced the different size fits either, though.

Went with 2 neighbors and another friend to the Art Institute of Chicago and looked at several exhibits. This other friend is a member, and his mother works as a docent there. They had a device for me with audio descriptions, which I very much appreciate. I knew pretty much all long that they had these, but sometimes it's hard to get working units at these venues. A lot of times they either don't work at all, or I'm given those other devices that amplify the audio or something. But the one I had today worked perfectly and the descriptions were done just right. Then we had lunch at a cafe in the same building and then drove back.

I was prepared for the scheduled phone interview! Even though the interviewer missed it due to the bad weather.

Made myself two cheese sandwiches and shared one, to much acclaim.
