I went to the 50th birthday celebrations of an old friend whom I haven't seen for years. It was a happy occasion and I laughed till I cried more than once.

Hung out w/neighbor friend across the hall again. Also read up on some politics, which is something I have rarely done over the years, if at all. I told him about a political website which I just found, and he bookmarked it. Neither of us watched Tuesday's debate because we had our monthly game night downstairs. But one of my goals for the new year and beyond was to at least become more interested in and aware of politics, and I'd say I've gotten a good start on that. Most mainstream news sites don't play nicely with screen readers and other assistive technology.
