I succeeded at asking for something I wanted. And got the thing, too, which is very handy.

Some tidying and dishes-ing.

Packed pill boxes and ordered pills.

Tried the instant pot at the project of respiration++ tisane. Not bad, but it didn't turn the alarming color I'm used to. (Recipe guidelines: take everything edible from the herbal that's good for breathing that goes together, such as mint, orange peel, rosemary, cinnamon, clove and plop it in the pot with water until it makes a tisane. Use the other ones such as garlic and onion in the chicken broth. Strain into tea mug or thermos. Honey optional. Keep adding more herbs and water to the tisane pot until the cold goes away.)

The steam from the pressure cooking smelled like Yuletide.

Hung out again w/my neighbor friend across the hall and one of my tutors.





Got up at the crack of dawn to buzz in my cleaning lady. I thought she was coming next week or the week after, so I was in for a big surprise that wasn't too pleasant. I had a bit of dirty laundry out on my bedroom floor, and she wasn't too happy about that. Ah well, I can and will do better next time. I usually keep the place rather tidy for her, but as usual I got busy and didn't know she was coming so soon.
