It's challenge time!
Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.
Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!
Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!
Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Date: 2020-03-16 03:15 pm (UTC)Paid my health insurance premium;
Called Officeworks to say "So, that parcel I thought was my iphone was actually two giant rolls of toilet paper";
Left the two giant rolls of toilet paper out for the woman who was supposed to have received them to come and collect;
Got my iphone. Failed to connect it to wifi as can't remember wifi password;
Found out both the major online grocery shops have stopped delivering as of tomorrow night unless you're Disabled/chronically ill;
Tried to call the grocery shop to say "Actually I AM Disabled/chronically ill" but despite hours on hold, couldn't get through to a human;
Got a home delivery from the chemist - over the counter medications; a big packet of nurofen; cough mixture; electric thermometer;
Put a top outside for a Buy Nothing person to collect;
Posted the following to my local Buy Nothing group: "As there are increasing numbers of COVID cases in the Perth metro community [28 so far, including 2 healthcare workers who saw patients before being diagnosed], we may want to think about how we can share our things without sharing our germs. For a while now I've been using the "put it in a plastic box out the front" method because I have a fragrance allergy [perfume/spray-on deodorant gives me migraines.] It occurs to me that "put it in a plastic box out the front" with no face-to-face contact is also a good way for Buy Nothing people to avoid sharing our germs with each other. ^_^";
Ordered some groceries from another online grocery shop - significantly more expensive and much smaller range, but better than me or partner going to the shops and getting COVID;
Ordered some bottles of green iced tea and black iced online for home delivery. Emailed both companies to say "I'm Disabled and take a while to get to the door, please leave it on my doormat if I don't answer"

Date: 2020-03-17 11:57 am (UTC)Managed to listen to part of a service for the 3rd Sunday in Lent, which was recorded by the brand-new rector at my church. She was joined in the Lady Chapel by our associate rector, who is actually leaving soon. He accepted a position in another state and I for one will miss him. I've yet to meet the head rector who just started, but have heard good things about her. I read her biography on the church's website though, and am already impressed. They are going to record mass from here on out, until such time when everyone can return to church in person. I like that idea. YouTube seems to work well for this screen reader user.

Settled in to hunker down.
