Got my bingo posted to allbingo, took the trash and recyclables out to the street for pick-up, put the first load of wash in the washer and tried to put fresh batteries in my Mom's flashlight, but I can't find the C batteries that I'm pretty sure I got for the last hurricane season and tried to make a delivery order, but they didn't have enough of the list in stock for them to bring it.

Well done on all the chores and the bingo! Sorry to hear about the setback with the batteries. I hope it can be resolved soon.

Thank you so much. Hopefully the battery situation will get taken care of in the next few weeks. Not good to lack batteries during Hurricane Season.

Ran a meeting even more successfully than I'd anticipated. It was booked for 3 hours with the intention of it lasting 2, and in the end because everyone was satisfied with the materials I'd prepared, it took 30 minutes.

Spent some quality time out on my parents' patio with them and a sister for lunch. Then had the start of a good talk with them about moving back to my apartment, and putting some other things in motion.





Talked again with a neighbor.

Did not give the advice that I wished to give, because it would have been ill-advised to tell the Executive Director and several of the higher management what I thought about the effects of their years during a message that was supposed to be about what we are doing to move forward in being a more just and antiracist institution.

That should be "tears", not "years", but autocucumber strikes again. And, as one might expect with an institution of our size, the sentiment of "fix it!" is far from universal.
