It's challenge time!

Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.

Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!

Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!

Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Go!
Happy Solstice!

Made a grocery order to tide us over since we had credit from their recent screw-ups. Here's hoping that works this time. I also made an order for nibbles. It's hurricane season so we always need non-perishables just in case. I thought I'd try something new for a change.

The grocery delivery was a success. I wish I'd ordered more. We're still trying to prepare for hurricane season. That's always a job, but because of the pandemic they're saying to prepare for a week instead of three days. I'm hoping the nibbles are good. Hopefully they'll get here earlier than the tracking indicates, because our weather isn't really conducive to some of the things I ordered. The company says that they ship in heat resistant packaging so hopefully that's true. If not I see another service call in my future.

Placed an order for pickup.

Set up an order to get replacement parts for the Roomba.

Got two other things we'd been needing while exchanging the carbon dioxide bottle.

Had enough of the staples of my secular Solstice celebration to feel satisfied with it. (Roasted meats [food, fire], cherries [fruit], games with the siblings [friends].)

Read a bit more in my book, and finished it so that I could start another.

Celebrated Father's Day and a sister's birthday, both of which are today. My sister from out-of-state, her husband, and their 2 kids came and a good time was had by all.

Talked with a neighbor again. He and I are trying to figure out a time to go shopping for new chairs to go on our deck. I've been talking with my parents, and he's been talking with one of his brothers to somehow split the cost.
