Made a nice Father's Day breakfast with the children, for Partner.

Visited the house, fed and scruffled the cat, harvested more fruit and veg from the garden.

Ridiculous day. I cleaned the kitchen, did the highly touched surfaces in the living room and dining room, started writing a sequel to a recent fic, ran the dishwasher and unloaded and put the contents away and am on the 5th load of laundry. I wish I could say that I'm done.

I wish I could take a day off, but that just doesn't happen. I'm still trying to figure out how this place is going to run if I ever get to go back to work.

That sounds even more difficult than normal. How did it (not) work before?

Mom was more help before the virus. I just wish I could get it through her head that hand hygiene and keeping the regularly touched surfaces disinfected is a life and death thing. She actually does know it, she watches the news, but she just doesn't seem to care. I'm so tired that I'm just dragging.

Ugh. If only that knowledge translated into good action.

I don't know if it's from being stuck in all these months or what. She just seems so old these days. I've been trying to get her to walk. She's supposed to walk.

Called my dad this morning,
Made pancakes for breakfast & am making meatloaf, mashed potatoes & roasted carrots for dinner. I've been bad about making veggie sides so I'm glad I remembered.

Also worked on transcription test. Need to work on it more tomorrow.

Cleaned part of my bedroom. This included about an hour of untangling yarn. I did not get the mess completely untangled, but progress was made! I also went through about half of my file cabinet and put old mail in a box to be shredded later.

Also worked on a baby blanket that mom has commissioned me to make.
