It's challenge time!

Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.

Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!

Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!

Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Go!

Laundry;

Ordered some things I needed from Officeworks. When the website wouldn't work in Firefox [despite having always worked in Firefox until now], I tried it again in Safari, and managed to order, even though this required resetting my password because I rely on Firefox to remember all my passwords for me;

Messaged someone to arrange collection of a Buy Nothing item;

Despite the weather being cold, grey, overcast, and despite my cat's constant escape attempts, made more than eight (8) trips outside to take rubbish to the outside rubbish bin. Did not let my cat outside once.

Another crappy, crazy day. I wiped down the living room, dining room and kitchen, got the second load of laundry in the dryer. had to take my Mom's taxes to the post office, pick-up the dog's food and pills from the vet, dropped off the donation bag that's been piling up for months, also dropped off a box of food for the Food Bank drive and brought Mom home some chicken noodle soup from Chick-Fil-A since her wonky stomach is a bit iffy still. I still have a bunch of crap to do do today, but I'm so tired and stressed after the post office. I can't believe that people in the post office are not being made to wear masks and distance. I really need to move away from idiots.

Thank you. I just feel like I'm taking my life in my hands when I have to leave. And that puts my Mom in danger. I just don't understand why people don't give a crap about others. This country is going to hell in a hand basket.

Read some more in my book and talked with a neighbor again.

Then another neighbor and I went with a tutor out to visit some former neighbors at their new place. We had a great time and they're doing well. They ordered carry-out from a BBQ place right by their house. I hadn't eaten from this restaurant before but the food was very good. For dessert, we had some bread which my mother baked and gave to me.

I continue to try and leverage what privilege I have, hopefully to good ends and making the organization less terrible. (In this specific case, advocating against publishing raw but anonymized data that would not be difficult to re-identify people with.)

Helped with some light research.

Dishes.

Did a fair amount of the work for pizza, including getting toppings ready before the dough was done rising.

Finished reading a book.
