Got the trash and recyling together and took the bins to the curb to be picked-up, wiped the living room and family room, got Mom's pills together, worked on a fic and fed and washed the dog.

I successfully ducked work. Today was my day off, but in this era of ready access and work from home, not looking at work is a harder thing than usual.

Well done. A saying that has been circulating here might resonate: "We're not working from home. We're living at work."

That is a helpful saying, and it shows truth when it seems like big changes and decisions might come at any moment with a quick turnaround time.

I got through a tedious, late-afternoon meeting that overran by 25 minutes and managed to keep my facial expressions relatively professional.
