Washed all the dishcloths and hung them up to dry (indoors, since the weather here has turned from “too hot” to “nice temperature but drizzly”).

That's ironic or something. I just pulled all the dish towels, oven mits and other kitchen linen out of the draws and put them in the washer. I thought it would be an easy first step to start taking apart the kitchen. It needs a lot of work.

Took several bags of rubbish to the outside rubbish bins;

Sorted rubbish on my bedroom floor into black plastic rubbish bags;

Messaged some people re Buy Nothing collections;

Put some stuff outside for Buy Nothing collection

Since I couldn't sleep, I went through the old pictures and saw some that I don't think I've ever seen, I combined the address books, I found a frame that hadn't been used and it worked with my little Clint/Phil colored pencil art piece that I got on Etsy. The frame is magnetic with magnets with different patriotic designs. It kind of screamed Phil. :-) I arranged some drawers and now I have some more storage space--always need that. And I found a place to hang the dogs playing poker picturer that has been around since I was a kid. I didn't want to get rid of it. It makes me nostalgic. I took it from where it was, because when I can eventually get someone to move the tall desk it's going on that wall.

I took off the tape and rearranged everything so the room with the newly blue wall is functional again.

I am not letting my brain scream at me about how unfinished it is because of the spots that were painted that chose not to hold on to their paint completely.

Hung out with my neighbor across the hall for most of the day. Had some of the Irish soda bread which he baked and gave to me the night before. It is very good, and he put the rest of it in my refrigerator for later. A bit different than the Irish soda bread I've had previously, but still delicious.
