Just one thing: 26 August 2020
Aug. 26th, 2020 11:59 pmIt's challenge time!
Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.
Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!
Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!
Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.
Go!

Messaged people re Buy Nothing collection;
Ordered a new bed [My old bed was 9 years old and a spring had broken and punctured through the outside mattress surface eg only the mattress protector and the fitted sheet was protecting me/my partner from being punctured by a broken mattress spring.]
Gave instructions to my friend so she could help me sort out my garage without any face to face contact [I was inside house with all doors shut, she was in garage, we talked on phone];
Tackled a pile of doom in the spare room and sorted it into
a) keep or rehome
b) laundry
c) recycling
d) deal with later
there's still quite a lot of work to do, but it's at least 30 litres smaller than it was...
sorted some recycling into the recycling bin
ordered some groceries online for home delivery

Date: 2020-08-27 02:54 pm (UTC)Most meditation modes I've encountered are the kinds that say "thoughts happen, and the better you are at noticing them without chasing them, the better you are at understanding them and working with them." Is this a different kind of meditation mode?
