Not much accomplished today, but I made a little dent. I got yesterday's mail, took a nap, ordered some groceries to tide me over and have been watching some movies I had recorded. That did not get any cleaning or writing done. Maybe later.

Hung out again with my neighbor across the hall, and meditated.





A sister FaceTimed me to ask if I was going with them up to see my niece and nephew and their parents for Labor Day. I think it was one of those spur-of-the-moment things because this morning was the first I'd heard about it. But anyways, I said yes so asked the neighbors if I could do laundry today. Actually one of them made this suggestion, and I'm glad he did. I already knew one of them wasn't doing laundry because he pulls all-nighters all the time and does it then. Or at least they are almost all-nighters. Another neighbor is with her mom, and the other guys said yes. So I did my laundry and am packing up. Just got off the phone w/mom, and she said one of them will pick me up tomorrow to spend the night.

Took the children for a bike ride and playdate in the big park a few miles away. The weather cooperated and Eldest had the longest independent ride she's ever done (about 3km).

Tackled some more of the Great Tidying Up Project in the afternoon. Chucked away a binload of paper. Ebay sale and pick-up of a large unneeded item of furniture was also quite satisfying.
