Finished the days-long task of overlaying a map from 1800 on a modern slippy map (OpenStreetMap) and sent it to a fellow historian for feedback. This was my first time working with GQIS (a mapping program) and I learned a lot. The next version of this overlay will be a lot better :D

Picked-up the mail from yesterday, mailed paperwork, got a return re-packaged and ready to ship, took a nap, looking at a mess I need to clean-up, and nursing a headache.

Assuming you mean cartographer — no, I just like doing things with maps. I’m researching the local history of my area, and the 1800 map is the earliest accurate one, so it’s very useful to be able to relate it to the modern landscape.

Hope your headache goes away soon!

Got up & got my partner J on the phone with his lawyer about his disablity case. Thank goodness since he missed the call yesterday.

In the afternoon I made curry for freezer meals. Also made ratatouile for dinner. Still need to make mashed potatoes & meatloaf.

Lots of dishes & cooking today.

Took a walk with my neighbor across the hall to the local Walgreens, because he had an order of meds ready for pickup. We were gonna get our flu shots, but neither of us had our insurance cards. Will try to look that up today though. But we also meditated, despite him not really feeling up to it.





Went on a second walk with my tutor, around the block.

Played morale support on a trip to help someone get unlocked out.

Carried a heavy thing downstairs by myself.

Embarked on a 2-ish hour round trip to be the Parent With The Spare Keys and deliver some more masks and a small treat, since we were going all that way anyway. Detoured for some groceries.
